Technology
Geo-Fly’s know how ranges at 360 degrees embracing all the prominent technologies and applications like laser scanning and image scanning, through the use of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) airborne digital systems or traditional carriers like ULM, sounding balloons, gliders and dynamic land platforms.
The technology benchmark consists of the applications generally used in the photogrammetric surveying: these techniques have been reviewed following the evolution of digital devices towards 3D, focus point around which recent IT systems used by professionals in different fields (environment, land and cultural heritage) are designed.
Seemingly, this appears to be a simple process but technology convergence is never that linear: in fact, its constitutive modules include always the sum of different approaches and experiences. From an operational point of view we can see how airborne systems, for example, evolved from big and cumbersome solutions to innovative UAV or quadricopter systems, that definitely evolved the concept of airborne filming device itself.
Technologies and expertise
Geo-Fly’s expertise resides above all in the thirty-year experience of its partners and consultants, as well as in its innovative approach to those new technologies that constantly hit the market. The continuous testing and the combined efforts towards well-established and numerical methodologies, make Geo-Fly products and services extremely innovative.
Geo-Fly is also defined by its ability in the integration of different technologies; the different results and data sets obtained through this integration are mixed with hi-end IT applications aimed to the enhancement of geospatial, GIS, CAD and 3D modeling systems.
The funding technologies put on field by Geo-Fly pertain to the following solutions:
- Land and airborne photogrammetric camera platforms.
- Land and airborne LiDAR systems.
- IR systems for environment and engineering.
- Positioning systems for dynamic surveys.
- MMS systems for land data sets and GIS.
- Enhanced 3D processing systems for the
tridimensional survey and documentation of real world.
